Sewer Line Repair

Sewer line repair and replacement from diagnosis to backfill.

A damaged sewer line is not something to ignore. Attaboy Plumbing diagnoses the failure, clears the line, and repairs or replaces it using excavation or trenchless methods.

Buried line failures

How we repair sewer lines in Northern California

Sewer lines fail for a handful of common reasons: tree roots seeking moisture, ground movement causing offsets or separations, aging clay or Orangeburg pipe collapsing, and grease or debris creating chronic blockages. The symptoms are usually the same: gurgling drains, multiple fixtures backing up, sewage odor, or a wet, sunken area in the yard.

Attaboy Plumbing starts with a camera inspection to see what kind of damage we are dealing with. If the pipe is cracked in a short section or has a localized offset, a spot repair may be enough. We expose the line, cut out the damaged piece, install the correct replacement material with proper slope and connections, and backfill carefully.

For longer damaged runs or pipes that are failing in multiple places, full replacement is often the better investment. We trench the line from the house to the city connection or septic, install PVC or ABS with proper bedding and support, and restore the surface. When conditions allow, trenchless methods such as pipe bursting or lining can reduce the surface disruption.

If you have repeated backups, a soggy yard, or a camera inspection showing damage, call (530) 405-9708 for sewer line repair or replacement.

Repair paths

Spot repair, replacement, or trenchless

Spot repair

For a single crack, offset, or root intrusion point. We expose just the damaged section and replace it with new pipe and proper connections.

Full replacement

For collapsed, bellied, or heavily damaged lines. We trench from the house to the connection point and install a complete new line.

Trenchless options

Pipe bursting and lining can sometimes replace or seal a line without full excavation, preserving landscaping, driveways, and patios.
