Whole-House Repiping

Whole-house repiping for aging plumbing systems.

If leaks keep appearing, water pressure is falling, or the tap water looks rusty, the pipes themselves may be failing. Attaboy Plumbing evaluates the whole system and replaces problem piping with modern, code-approved materials.

System replacement

When repiping is the right long-term fix

Older homes across Chico, Redding, and Oroville often have galvanized steel, polybutylene, or thin copper that has been corroding for decades. The result is a chain of small leaks, rusty water, low pressure, and repair bills that keep stacking up. At some point, spot repairs cost more than replacing the system once and correctly.

Attaboy Plumbing inspects the visible piping, tests pressure, and maps the system before recommending repiping. We explain the material choices, typically PEX-A or copper, and the routing plan. Repiping is usually done room by room to keep water on as much of the house as possible during the project. Walls and ceilings are opened with care, then repaired and repainted to match the existing finish.

Repiping is also a smart upgrade during a remodel, after a major slab leak, or when adding fixtures that the old pipes cannot support. We size the new system for the home’s actual fixture count and water demand, install shutoff valves at logical points, and pressure-test everything before the job is signed off.

If you are tired of chasing leaks or want a clear plan for an aging plumbing system, call (530) 405-9708 for a repiping estimate.

Pipe materials

What we repipe with

PEX-A

Flexible, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for most whole-house repipes. Fewer joints mean fewer future leak points.

Copper

Durable and proven, copper is a good choice for exposed areas, high-heat runs, and customers who prefer metal piping.

Hybrid systems

We design mixed-material systems when the job benefits from the strengths of both PEX and copper in different zones.
